These Terms & Conditions apply when you purchase products from the Minigram Spices website.
Please read them before placing an order. By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Our products
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, weights, ingredients and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
Because spices, herbs and other natural food products can vary between crops, batches and origins, there may be minor natural variations in colour, appearance, aroma or texture.
Product images are provided for illustration and the appearance of products and packaging may vary slightly from images displayed on screen.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where a product is faulty, unsafe or not as described.
3. Ingredients and allergens
Please read the product information and allergen information provided on the individual product page before ordering.
Relevant ingredient and allergen information will also be provided with the product.
Some products may carry precautionary allergen statements, such as "may contain" information, where applicable.
If you have a food allergy or intolerance and are uncertain whether a product is suitable for you, please contact us at alastair@minigramspices.co.uk before ordering.
Food Standards Scotland requires allergen information for food sold at a distance to be available before purchase and again when the product is delivered.
4. Placing an order
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your order.
After receiving your order, we will send an electronic acknowledgement or confirmation.
A contract between you and Minigram Spices is formed when we accept your order.
If we are unable to accept an order, for example because a product is unavailable, there has been an obvious pricing error or we are unable to deliver to the address provided, we will notify you and refund any payment already taken for the affected product.
5. Prices and payment
Prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (£).
The total amount payable, including any applicable delivery charge, will be shown before you complete your order.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available through our website.
We reserve the right to change prices, products and promotions at any time, but changes will not affect orders that we have already accepted.
6. Delivery
We will deliver products to the address provided when you place your order.
You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery information you provide is complete and accurate.
Estimated delivery times shown on our website are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless we expressly state otherwise.
We are not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control, although we will assist where reasonably possible if a delivery problem occurs.

7. Checking your order
Please check your order when it arrives.
If an item is damaged, incorrect, missing or appears unsuitable for use, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:
Please provide your order number and details of the problem. Photographs may be helpful where an item has arrived damaged.
8. Cancellations and returns
Your rights to cancel or return an order depend upon the circumstances and the type and condition of the product.
Where a statutory right to cancel applies to an online purchase, the normal cancellation period is 14 days after delivery.
There are exceptions to cancellation rights, including certain perishable products and sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed.
These exceptions do not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, unsafe or not as described.

9. Faulty, damaged or incorrect products
We want you to be satisfied with your Minigram Spices order.
If a product supplied by us is faulty, damaged, unsafe, not as described or otherwise does not meet the standards required by law, please contact us.
Depending upon the circumstances and your statutory rights, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a refund or replacement.
UK consumer rights require products to be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose; terms of sale cannot simply remove those rights.
10. Product safety, withdrawal and recall
Minigram Spices operates a batch-traceability system for its products.
Each production batch is allocated a batch number, which can be used to identify affected products should a food-safety issue arise.
In the unlikely event that a product needs to be withdrawn or recalled, we may contact customers who have purchased, or may have purchased, an affected product.
If you receive a product recall or safety notification from us, please follow the instructions provided and do not consume the affected product where we advise you not to do so.
11. Product availability
All products are subject to availability.
Because Minigram Spices specialises in relatively small packs and may source particular spices in batches, some products may occasionally become unavailable.
If an item becomes unavailable after you have ordered it, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund where we cannot supply the product.
We will not substitute a different product without your agreement.
12. Promotions and discount codes
From time to time, Minigram Spices may offer promotional prices, bundles or discount codes.
Any specific conditions relating to a promotion will be displayed with that promotion.
Unless otherwise stated:
• promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
• only one promotional code may be used per order; and
• promotions are available for the stated period or while relevant stocks last.
We may withdraw or correct a promotion where there has been an obvious error or misuse, subject to orders already validly accepted.
13. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable consequence of our breach of these Terms & Conditions or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
In particular, nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory consumer rights or excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
That last wording is worth retaining. Consumer contract terms cannot remove liability for matters such as faulty goods, goods that are not as described, or death or injury in circumstances where the law prohibits such exclusions.

15. Changes to these Terms & Conditions
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our products, business practices or legal requirements.
The Terms & Conditions applying to an order will normally be those in force when the order was placed.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections applicable where you live.
